my name is nurie! i’m a young malaysian creative currently residing in sydney, australia. i create illustrations and wearable merchandise for my personal brand, nuriepop. since 2018 i’ve tabled at australian pop-culture conventions with my best friend anne under the combined moniker meme queens. i love the mood that bright, bold colours can evoke and aspire to create work that makes people happy.

in my spare time i can be found watching cartoons, belting showtunes, and trying to put together fun colourful outfits!
